In light of the hundreds of cases of serious illness and several deaths associated with the use of e-cigarette products across the country in the last months, and after careful consideration, we have decided to pull all vape liquids and vape kits from our shelves. According to authors of articles published in the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report and the New England Journal of Medicine, no evidence of infectious diseases has been identified in the patients effected. Rather, the lung illnesses are likely associated with a chemical exposure, but it is too early to pinpoint a single product or substance common to all cases.

The New York State Department of Health warns against using untested products, products containing Vitamin E acetate and products that have been tampered with. The products Hemp it UP sells do not fit any of those categories nor have we added any new products to our lineup in recent months.

We continue to have great confidence in the safety of our products. Indeed staff and our family members continue to use the products. However, out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to pull the products until the cause of the illnesses has been determined.

Inhaled products offer the quickest route to the bloodstream. Very popular are our lines of vape liquids, which come in tasty flavors - or unflavored for those who prefer it. Because of the very rapid delivery to the bloodstream, inhaled forms are great for responding to the onset of symptoms such as anxiety, restless leg, and migraines.
